Oxford Imhotep Limited is a professional software company dedicated to financial big data analysis, setting up by Dr. Zhaodong Wang in 2017 in Oxford, UK.

Dr. Zhaodong Wang is an IT specialist focus on financial industry. He acquired his PHD in computer science from Shanghai Jiaotong University in 1999. He was chief architect of China software in Hewlett Packed. In 2003, he joined Shanghai Futures Exchange (the largest futures exchange in China), and set up an IT company for them, Shanghai Futures information technology limited. He was deputy general manager and later general manager of this company. In a 7-year period, he made this company the largest and most important IT provider in China futures market. He developed all core systems for Shanghai Futures Exchange, China Financial Futures Exchange, and futures part of China Securities Regulatory Commissions. He also developed CTP, a leading broker side trading system in China. In 2010, he left this company and started his career to do automatic trading himself.

Dr. Zhaodong Wang is a leading expert in this area. He became part time professor in financial math department of East China Normal University from 2011. His book, High-Frequency Trading and Probability Theory (co-authored with another leading mathematician Weian Zheng), was published in 2014, and became text book in this subject for some universities. Now He is Alan Tyler Visiting Lecturer in Math Institute of University of Oxford. And he is now external advisor and assessor for master program for financial math and computational finance in Math Institute.

Dr. Zhaodong Wang is a widely respected expert. He is China Preeminent Science and Technology Award (The highest such kind of award in China) Review Committee Expert. He was China Securities Regulatory Commission Tech Committee Expert, China Futures Association Tech Committee Expert and China Securities Standard Committee Member. As a PHD candidate, he was Chief Coach of Shanghai Jiaotong University for ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest. As a high school student, he was China National Training Team member for International Mathematical Olympiad.
